Hello and welcome to my first ever blog post! Being exactly two weeks away from Christmas, I thought it was only fitting that I kick things off with my top 5 gift ideas for the beauty lover. These gift ideas are versatile for any celebration so if you're very organised (like me) and have already done all of your Christmas shopping, you can keep them in mind for your next birthday, bridal shower or Mothers day! SO if you're stuck for ideas and need a bit of inspiration, continue reading as I list my personal top 5 picks!
1. Chanel gift set - available in Chanel stores and Myer department stores
I have this newly discovered obsession for Chanel. For one thing, their holiday packaging is beautifully iconic and their products are a luxurious treat if you want to spoil someone special! From their world renowned Coco Chanel perfume, to some of my personal favourite makeup essentials (I've most recently been using their kohl eye liner and hydration serum on clients and I'm obsessed). The best part is their gift sets can be customised to suit your budget!
2. Tatcha ‘Little Luxuries Bento’ gift set - available at Mecca Maxima
Give the gift of luxury skincare. Enriched with pure ingredients and inspired by ancient Japanese rituals, Tatcha has become a staple in every makeup artists kit. I love an aesthetically pleasing brand and Tatcha nailed it with their packaging. You can truly feel the love that was put into creating each product. It is a gorgeous gift for beauty lovers who love to nourish their skin with luxury products! This set includes a Camellia Goldspun Lip Balm and travel sizes of The Silk Cream, The Silk Canvas, Violet-C Radiance Mask, Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil.
3. The Daily Edited personalised makeup bag - available at www.thedailyedited.com
I’m a sucker for personalised gifts! It is my go-to for any occasion and you have a plethora of options to suit even the hardest of people to shop for at TDE! A personalised makeup bag is the perfect gift if not THE gift of all gifts! For an extra surprise, throw in a few makeup products like a Tom Ford bronzer or Chanel lippy - it's a yes from me darl.
4. The Blush Off Starter Kit - available at www.blushoff.com.au
This newly launched brand has changed the game for removing makeup with their tried-and-true, patented micro-fibre technology. You just add water and wipe away your makeup like magic! Its like no other makeup remover pad on the market! Their starter kit makes the perfect gift and include two remover pads, a head band, a shampoo cleanser to clean your pads (can also double as a brush cleaner - winning!), a spray bottle, a laundry wash bag and an eco bag for storage. They are an eco-friendly brand which makes it the perfect gift for those who are a little more conscious of our environment.
5. Pho Thai spa Gift Voucher - available via www.phothaispa.com.au
This one is for my fellow Brissy gals. For my birthday this year, I was gifted a Pho Thai Spa voucher for a pedicure and it was THE BEST pedicure I’ve had in my entire life! A haven of tranquility if you will. As a self proclaimed connoisseur of massages, it is in my professional opinion Pho Thai have created the perfect environment for you to relax and unwind with zero distraction! They have a number of treatments available and although I haven't tried them all, I highly recommend the Luxury Thai Pedicure which includes a foot soak and scrub with salt scrub, foot massage with reflexology, luxury warm paraffin wraps, nail tidy, cuticle work with OPI nail polish and a gentle neck, shoulder and scalp massage. It's bloody beautiful.
If you've made it this far, congratulations for reaching the end of my very first blog and THANK YOU for taking the time to read it.
